Gasthaus Zum Hirschen in Muhr am See

The food was sometimes cold and not enough. More people were charged than were present. We celebrated our baptism here for the first and last time. Absolutely not recommendable. That's not how you make yourself popular in the neighborhood. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Great food at good prices and good service

Eaten the Franconian national dish Schäufele with potato dumplings here for the first time on September 22nd, 2020. Tasted great. Even the rim of bacon that remains on the meat in this dish was fried and seasoned so crispy that I could eat it without any problems (and I usually hate rinds). My wife had Böfflamotte (beef stew), which I was also allowed to taste. Also excellently prepared. Overall, big compliments to the kitchen. Also worth mentioning is the very friendly service and the cozy beer garden. Oh yes, I forgot the beer: Wolframs Seidla, a very good cellar beer

Full marks for the "deer". Went to the beer garden for lunch on the way home today and the cordon bleue and onion roast were just fantastic :) With a lot of love and everything freshly made. The gentleman at the next table was of the opinion that the fried onions were "bagged goods" and he was not satisfied. His mask was probably too tight ... His wife didn't agree with him either. The landlord took it with humor. And anyone who claims that the staff is unfriendly simply cannot cope with the franc itself 😋 Keep up the good work, we'll definitely be back 😎😎

Nice restaurant with a pleasant beer garden. Ordered a salad with strips of turkey. Unfortunately there were no turkey strips on the salad, but turkey sliced ​​together on the edge around the plate. Furthermore, it wasn't bad. In my opinion, the waitresses were overwhelmed because the beer garden was fully booked with registered visitors for a Harley ride. Waited a good 15 minutes for service before we could pay

Super nice beer garden, I had the Burgundy roast which was a bit streaked, but which animal makes perfect meat. Nice waitresses and delicious food and beer. Must have in Muhr!

Nothing like there because . the inn has a clear concept (regional, slow food) . the very good kitchen keeps what it promises and is also flexible . the staff was absolutely friendly and courteous . the hosts Mrs. and Mr. Heinz are extremely nice and take care of their guests communicatively . the beer garden invites you to eat, drink and linger . the rooms and the inn meet the positive expectations . the location to almost all lakes in the Franconian lake landscape is excellent . the corona hygiene rules are consistently adhered to . the Gasthof “Zum Hirschen” is simply great - so: let's go!

Super nice pension and restaurant the beer garden a dream and the gentlemen who run the whole thing very nice and attentive. Food was very tasty and nicely presented. I would love to come back when I go swimming at Altmühlsee. Greetings to the young waiter ... 😋👌🙋🏼‍♀️

We were able to enjoy 4 beautiful days in the Hirschen. Great beer garden, exquisite cuisine, nice room, friendly staff and very nice landlords. If you are looking for rural cosiness, this is the right place for you here in Muhr am See. Ideal for cycling, swimming, enjoying nature ....

The beer is good, the beer garden is nice, but we waited for an hour for a cordon bleu and then for an hour for a Kaiserschmand. Not recommended for eating!
